Bainbridge Island now boasts seven small, artisanal wineries. Five use grapes grown in the warm climate of eastern Washington, while two grow grapes right here on Bainbridge, in the cool climate of Puget Sound. Tasting is available at tasting rooms located within walking distance of the ferry, and on select weekends at the wineries.

Tasting at the wineries
Since the wineries are small and owner-operated, they are only all open for tasting at the wineries on select weekends (though some are open additional days as well). Hours are 12 - 5, and tastings are cheap or free. Scroll down for a map and contact information. 2010 open weekends include:
Note for groups & tours: our wineries are all very intimate and cannot accommodate large groups nor buses (all the better for the rest of you!). If you are a group of more than 6 people, you must call ahead to make arrangements in advance. Thank you!
Tasting rooms near the ferry
Three of the wineries also operate tasting rooms that are located within walking distance of the ferry terminal and are open throughout the year: Eagle Harbor Wine Company, Eleven, and Victor Alexander. Contact the individual wineries (see below) for hours and information.
