Coates has toured nationally, opening for artists like Sheryl Crow, headlining Nashville's famed Bluebird Cafe and receiving airplay on KEXP along the way. James's latest set of singles have been playlisted numerous times and received regional radio airplay and international press. James's band includes guitar, keys, bass, drums, saxophone and trumpet, creating a sonic tapestry that feels both classic and modern.
